Allocating Genie content for Learners

Note: This article relates to content created in Genie and allocated for the App learners.

Once you have created content in the Genie, you can utilise the following section in the Admin panel to allocate the content for the user groups and categories.

Admin Panel

Only accounts with Admin access will be able to assign genie quests, documents, videos or links to users. Users with permission to the Admin area will be to navigate to content distribution areas. They are:

  • Quests

  • Battles

  • Documents

  • Links

  • Videos

Genie Sections

When one of these is clicked, they will navigate to the Genie sections area. This will help the Admin locate the content they wish to assign. Once they’ve located the piece of content, the user will be able to assign permissions by clicking ‘Edit’.

Edit Content 

The Edit Content page is where the admins can select the following settings:

  • Category- Select which Category/Sub-Category this piece of content is found in the application library

  • Sections- Choose what Genie Section this piece of content is displayed in

  • Supergroup- Select which Supergroup has access to this piece of content

  • Content Groups- Select which content groups have access to this piece of content

  • Open Access- Any User can access this content without invitation or permission

The following settings are part of the Genie settings and cannot be edited on this page:

Type- N/A

Version- N/A

Keywords- N/A

Description- NA

Visible on Find Training- N/A

Badges- N/A

Status- N/A

The User can then hit save changes to apply the above configurations which will be reflected in the application.

Other Considerations

  • Admins can currently invite users for the Quest

  • The new invites engine will cover the invitation for ‘Quick content’
