Assigning Quests (learning units for the App)

Once you have created your wonderful content for App for learners to consume it, the final step in process of distributing your content to the learners is to assign the content.

This takes place in the admin area in the LMS. Click on the Genie - Quests, where you can see the learning units that you had created in Genie.

Top tip: you can organise this area with ‘sections’ to be able to easily filter content accordingly.

How to assign content:

Click on the unit of learning to edit the access.

You can update the following:

• Category: this places the unit of learning in the respective library category (see more on library categories in our help articles)

• Select groups: this allows you to choose the content group or supergroup of users that are allowed to access this content

  • Alternatively, you can make this unit of learning ‘Open access’ which would allow all learners to be able to access the content.

• Keywords: as a recommendation, assigning keywords for the unit of learning will allow the users to search for the content in the library

There you have it - now content is visible to the learners to start consuming!
