Hello @everyone, say hello to the next level of social engagement on Growth Engineering’s Clubs functionality, tagging! It performs exactly like social media platforms in that you use the '@' symbol to start the tagging. Then after three characters, a dropdown of users be available to select from.

  • Create Calls To Action Focussed on Tagging: When crafting a social post that you feel needs to be widely seen across your organisation, use the power of tagging to make it go viral. For example you could end the post with, ‘Tag someone who you think could benefit from this training’ or ‘Tag three people who show great leadership skills and why you think they do’. This type of powerful call to action enables recognition, visibility and a thriving social community!

  • Use Tagging to Promote User Recognition: We all love getting recognition for our hard work and tagging provides the perfect platform to do this. Celebrate your monthly leaderboard champions, the users who completed a module first or those who used their knowledge in the real world. Making this part of your social learning strategy will encourage others to seek out this recognition!

  • Use Them Effectively: Not every post should have a user tag within it or a call to action to tag. Use this powerful functionality sparingly and you’ll see engagement with it maximised!
