How Waitlist Classroom Events Work
Here's some information regarding the Wait List events on your LMS
Waitlist Event Email Notifications
When a user is enrolled in a waitlist event, they will receive an email notification. Please, verify if the email template is disabled on your LMS, if yes, activate and edit the template:
-
- Go to Admin Dashboard > Settings > Email Templates
- Search for Classroom > Register Classroom Interest
- Edit the message as needed, remove the disabled selection, and save

Early Visibility to Tutor
When creating events, you should select a date in the "Early Visibility to Tutor" field. This controls when the task appears in the Tutor's "My Things To Do" section. If left empty, the Tutor will see the task only on the day of the event. This is not ideal for waitlist classes.

Wait List Event Management
When an event is listed with a "Wait List," more users can apply than the maximum number allowed. The admin or tutor will then review and edit the attendee list, enrolling some users and declining others based on their selections. Each user will receive email notifications regarding their status.
Here are some scenarios for an event with min attendee set to 1 and max attendee set to 2.
- If five learners apply for an event with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 attendees, all five will receive email notifications. The admin or tutor must then decide which two learners can attend and decline the others. In this case, we assume the Attendee list is empty, and that the Admin or Tutor did not accept any enrollments yet.

- If two learners have already been confirmed and a third one applies the third learner will see a "class full" message. The message appears on the screen for a few seconds.
