In our content authoring tool, along with building a complete learning unit, you can also add smaller learning units. These are created under the section “ Quick Content” and consist of:

Creating Videos
The Video Upload Wizard has the following settings, which allow you to create a video unit quickly and efficiently:
Step 1/2:
Video Title
Video Description
Thumbnail for the Unit
Bookmarking Y/N
Set desired XP Amount
Add a completion Badge
Step 2/2:
Add video from a Genie Video Library folder, ‘Create New Folder’ or ‘Add New’. Following the same logic as adding Video to Video Slide on Quest.
If ‘Add New’, you are taken to the video uploader where files can either be dragged & dropped or browsed for upload

Finally Save or Close.
Once the unit has been created; you can toggle between Publish/unpublished in the main view.
You can then also edit the video with the same editor view.
Creating Material
The Document Upload Wizard has the following settings, which allow you to create a material quickly and efficiently:
Step 1/2:
Document Title
Document Description
Thumbnail for the Unit
Set desired XP (for first-time viewing content)
Add a completion Badge (for first-time viewing content)
Step 2/2:
Add a document from an Asset/Document Library folder, ‘Create New Folder’ or ‘Add New’. Following the same logic as adding documents to Document Slide on Quest.
If ‘Add New’, you are taken to the document uploader where files can either be dragged & dropped or browsed for upload

The Link Upload Wizard has the following settings, which allow you to create links quickly and efficiently:
Step 1/1:
Link Title
Add Link URL (In the event that a link URL is invalid, a content creator will be notified as such and asked to resubmit a URL. Until a valid URL is provided, it will not be possible to Save the unit.)
Link Description
Set desired XP Amount
Add a completion Badge
