Test

Test

Think of tests as the bigger, more responsible sibling of assessments. While both tests and assessments are similar in appearance, tests are primarily a means of revealing how much knowledge your learners have acquired.

As you’d expect, this offers several possibilities. You could use tests to follow up on training, to prevent progression to other learning content (useful where prerequisite material is concerned), or even as the final, vital section within a course. Neater still, you can set pass percentages that must be met if the learner is to obtain their course certificate.

Test Key Features

  • Automated marking

  • Assessor marking can be any assessors on the platform; any assessors in the same team as the learner, or you can choose a specific assessor. This allows you to use qualitative questions so that learners have to demonstrate their knowledge.

  • Various question types, including true/false, yes/no, multiple-choice, scale, text, and file upload. This allows you to totally customize the test to fit your needs.

  • Ability to slow user progression until reaching a pass mark. This means users' knowledge has to be above a certain level which is great if the next section of learning is particularly challenging.
